Zvonarjov–Petrov Family | “Games We are Playing" | Latvia
How does a couple’s life change when a child enters it? What are my roles now? Parent, adult, child. When and to whom am I who? What is the hierarchy in the family? A utopian fantasy about family life and a reality that looks more like a game in which a new participant enters, who does not know the previously invented rules and begins to introduce his own adjustments. To break or to adapt? Where is the balance? Each family has its own rules of the game.
Dana Zvonarjova, Rihards Petrovs and Maija Petrova are a family that began their existence in this composition on March 30, 2021.
Mom is a dancer and teacher who graduated from the Contemporary Art Program In the Latvian Academy of Culture in 2018 and is currently continuing her studies in the Audiovisual and Performing Arts Master’s Program.
Father began his professional career by jumping on roofs as a teenager and calling it parkour. Over time, it turned into his profession, currently he is an acrobatics coach, trick athlete and stuntman.
The child.. we hope that she is currently living her best life and is happy.
