LAIKS DEJOT 2020

The 2020 edition of Latvia’s leading contemporary dance festival “Laiks dejot” took place in Riga from 27 August to 15 December.

• This year's focus was the "North", continuing the festival's cardinal point cycle started in 2019.

• The program featured contemporary dance artists from Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Iceland.

• A performance from Slovenia also featured, introducing the 2021 theme: the Balkans.

As in previous years, the festival included:

• Performances by local choreographers

• Masterclasses by international teachers

• A dance improvisation jam session
