LAIKS DEJOT 2019

The international contemporary dance festival “Laiks dejot” took place from 6 to 15 June 2019.

• The 2019 theme focused on New Asian Dance, featuring artists from India, China, Singapore, the Philippines/USA, and Sri Lanka.

• The program included:

  • Dance performances

  • Masterclasses

  • Discussions

  • Improvisation sessions

• A key component was the premiere of three new works by Latvian contemporary dance artists.
